Try blood bowl. The rule book is free and no army books or codexes.
You only need 11 Models (minimum) . That's only 11 models to paint .

Neutral Grounds (NG) is one best source of  Warhammer Products. I bought a box of Norse men last Saturday for P 1125. It has 12 Metal Models.

The complete set board game cost   around 500 British Pounds . You can order it from Neutral Grounds, but from experience it takes forever .

Models or figures from Games Workshop (GW) (www.games-workshop.com) is locally accepted as legal Blood bowl figure, just do a little convertion. It means that you can use Warhammer Fantasy or Warhammer 40K models. Lord of the rings and other GW models are off scale.

If GBP 1 = PHP 92.9112 then the cost would be around PHP 46,455.59 for the whole set?  Is this correct?  What's included in the set?

Technically, since the rules are free for download, you can play with it using any model you want LOL

Heck, I'll download the rules and play at home or at da Shak using Warmachine or Confrontation models if I'd want LOL!  I can even play it using those plastic toy soldiers you can buy at palengkes LOL!

The same would actually apply for any of the Specialist Games line like Mordheim or Inquisitor.  I ran an Inquisitor campaign using 40K models and it wasn't bad at all.

BUT on a similar note, you can do that if you plan to play at any of the NG stores.  They're pretty touchy about playing stuff in their stores that they don't sell.

And if that small detail doesn't bother you, play at your own home.  Invite players and enjoy the hobby.

I already spent hella lot for the hobby.  For the small games, I'd rather enjoy them with what I already have (or use something cheaper LOL!)

Aegis Open meet can be at UP Diliman. the place is free but we need to ask permission first .

It's ocuppied by different kinds of hobbyist( ie. Plastic modeling, air soft, warmachine and other greaky stuff).

For those who want to play this game, I have a couple of painted teams which I can bring for play. Got the board game and its components. Its great for one off games.... brutal in campaign play since your fave players can DIE in the pitch.
