I'll ask, but I have never played it and as I am not an RTS fan, I have not been interested in it.  Maybe I can convince my friends to come along.

Sayang, maybe next time u could come in the AEGIS Open Meet.  It is every last Saturday of the month.
Just a quick correction.

The OPEN MEET will now be every first saturday of every month from this point onward.

And to stay in subject, I'd like to play that game as well...  Cheesy

Got WOWBG action happening every weekend at my place with my old buds!  It's a bit complicated at first, as with any new game.  Lotsa small counters that may be easy to loose if no taken care of properly.

BUT beyond that, everything's GREAT!  It's got minis and a big board with lotsa cards!  And the system is pretty easy after the first game (of course I assume you're already a gamer to start with).

Will post pics as soon as my friend brings his cam

I have a set with all the expansions and I rarely play it because it takes a lot of time (we go about 6 to 8 hours a session, which includes a lunch break) and the table surface required is simply tremendous (more than 6 man dining table)!

The learning curve is quite large and the rules are difficult to internalize.  You need to play it several times to get down to the 2 to 3 hour level.

While I must agree with the large space needed to play the game and the longer time it takes to play especially with the expansions (our group usually finishes a game in 4 hours), I have to disagree with the rules and learning curve difficulty. I actually think the game is much more simpler than the other FFG games available, with everything already laid out before you already. Downtime is the only thing that bothers me with this game.

I played this with some friends over the Christmas holidays - it actually went faster than our Doom game.  It took about 3-4 hours for 4 players, of which 3 were first-timers.

I just noticed that all WarCraft products have been removed from the FFG site, including this gigantic gem.  Looks like WoW is finally slowing down.
