Haven't tried this yet. Is this collectible too like MTG?

I'm not touching any CCG anytime soon. I will not be able to afford it as I like to try out many different games and my budget is currently distributed among them. Getting into a CCG usually means my wallet should be focused on it... I've been there and am definitely over my MTG days. But of course this is just me.

If ever I do pick it up, it'll be more for collecting nice art stuff. I'm kinda tired of the whole CCG thing, to be honest, having invested (or wasted...but it was fun, so I guess not) thousands on Magic, L5R, LotR and AGoT, and other stuff...
Still, pretty art beckons...

Well to be honest, I too did have lots of fun and memorable moments in my Magic heydays. Come to think of it, MTG may be one of the reason I learned and love tabletop games.
If you like cool fantasy art, Blue Moon also has some stunning cards. Check out the artist for the Mimix expansion, Todd Lockwood:

Yup. I like his work. If I had tons more cash, I'd order the re-release/prints of the Drizzt books with his art.
Heck, my current desktop wallpaper is his cover for The Thousand Orcs.

Got myself a starter.
Its nice. Plays like Magic, but simpler I think.
I also didn't notice any card art that I'd say is bad (c'mon, Magic and L5R had lots of bad looking card art, even after several expansions...then again, appreciation of pieces of art, as some would argue, is a subjective endeavour...)
Oh, and I really like the starter case: its like a DVD/game plastic case that can hold your deck/s.

Anyone here selling singles? or know someone who does?
Need some rares for a deck I'm putting together.
It seems it's better to buy from someones "binder" for singles, NG doesn't sell much individual cards compared to MTG.

Is there still a local WoW TCG tournament scene? Is it a rotating format or is it Open/Vintage deckbuilding?
I have a bunch of Raid treasure packs that I can let go for cheap (Icecrown, Black Temple, Magtheridon). Not sure if I still have other rares kicking around though.

NG I believe has a weekly "mini" 1 night tournaments and I think XP Greenhills conducts one too. They give out boosters and play mats as prizes. 'tho most are restricted to block expansions only ( now its WB,WoE,ToTD).

Just got the WoW Dungeon Decks. It has an interesting twist on the Raid formula in that the Dungeon runs on pure AI. So there's no need for an overlord - you can play pure co-op or even rig up a solo game.
What's even more interesting is that it's designed to be played with the preconstructed Class Starter deck - to the point that there are special level-up rules which give restrictions on how to modify your Starter deck. For example - each Dungeon ally card with the "Boss" trait is worth 2XP when killed. And there are also Achievement cards that can give you bonus XP when you fulfill a special condition during the game.
What can you do with this XP?
Between
games, you can turn in your XP to be "allowed" to modify your deck. Would you like to add a Rare card to your deck? That will cost 5XP. That "Rare card" is not included in the box of course. You do get a foil treasure pack, but for your upgrade to be meaningful you will probably want to buy singles at NG.
Of course,
I
don't plan to go through that rigamarole. Raid veterans should already have kick-ass constructed decks, so for them the Dungeon Packs offer a Legendary mode with harder-to-beat Boss Heroes.
