Merscom is releasing a PC version of Ingenious in the middle of 2007. The game will have three levels of difficulty and can be played against the clock or online against real opponents.

this is a very good abstract game from reiner knizia. very easy to learn but since there is considerable amount of depth to its gameplay. its also playable as a solitaire (more like a puzzle though), 2, 3 or 4-player game. neutral grounds sell this game and the last time i checked, it was 50% off (thats about P1,300)!!

i bought my copy of ingenious for P2450 then after 3months, i dropped by NG glorietta again then saw a "50% off" sticker on a box of ingenious. the NG staff told me that the price will then be 50% of P2450. so bale P1225 lang pala... my bad

dunno if its still on sale. medyo nalaspag na yung game ko kaya muntik ko nang bilhin yun noon e.

P1225 is even better!  Check ko nga if its still on sale.  Sana mag-sale din ibang boardgames nila especially Descent and Twilight Imperium.

dami kseng piyesa ng descent at lalo na ng twilight imperium e. sa dinning table lang siguro namin malalaro yun. pero ang angas ng laki ng mga games na yun. di ko rin mabili yung war of the ring dahil sa laki ng space na kelangan nila.

Yup, plus the playing time is reaaally long.  But yung experience is epical!  I long to play these kind of games... if only I can find enough players and anybody who own these games.  hehe    Kasi if I'm going to shell out 5K more or less for a game, I want to play the hell out of it but if I can't find the time and anyone to play with then its no use.  Pero if they have a SALE on these games, it might change my mind and buy it.  It wouldn't hurt too if the shops will actively promote these games so as to generate more interest and therefore more players.

of the 3 games above, i prefer twilight imperium 3. ewan ko lang kug may makakalaro ako nun dito sa amin. game of thrones pa nga lang, mejo makatiyempo ng 5-player game.

I'm more interested din sa Twilight Imperium 3 since di ko pa nakikita may naglaro nito.  I've seen Descent and War of the Ring sa OM dati but TI3 wala pa.  

Does Neutral Grounds allow playing of these boardgames at their store? Most of the time I see MTG players there pero naglalaro ng boardgames wala pa.

FYI lang, I saw a copy of Ingenious at Neutral Grounds Galleria yesterday selling for only P1,950.
