However for Runebound (3-4 players is ok, though 3 is fastest), I prefer Hobbymania or my office for that purpose based on table size and time needed. I'll PM.
I wasn't able to go to the OGM because of time restraints, but I got to introduce deepthought and darkrock the base game of Runebound 2nd ed. and darkrock won because my gamble against High Lord Margath didn't pay off and I was knocked out!
Deepthought's office is in Makati too and he enjoys Runebound as well so he's interested in being our 3rd player if we'll play in your office. We just have to plan it.

damn darkrock's ally! the Red Scorpion is undisputedly a hooker, the one exhaust in exchange for health is a dead giveaway and so is her voluptuous curves.

That ally's ability was very powerful and well used by darkrock! As for Red Scorpion, I'm trying to check if we played her ability right on BGG, it might have been a damage prevention instead of a heal.
Overall, I'd say we had a pretty good game. We were all racing for the red level kills at the end and I didn't mind the long playtime at all. Welcome to the community of Runebound players darkrock and deepthought!

perhaps because it was prone to abuse.

I used this link from BGG as my basis regarding Red Scorpion.

hahahahah. now there's the problem. sent you an email re youtube.
The power of Red Scorpion reads as follows: "Once per turn, you may take 1 exhaustion to cancel 1 wound."
From a strict reading she can only activate that ONCE meaning to cancel 1 Wound as it is inflicted on her turn by taking one fatigue. So clearly it is not healing, as the ability is a cancel ability similar to armor.
However, according to some players she should be able ONCE per turn to cancel X wounds by paying X fatigue. Also there is allegedly a statement from a designer that that was the intent with Red Scorpion's ability.
The difference is huge, as the second and more liberal interpretation would allow her to cancel 4 wounds for 4 fatigue, or wounds up to her fatigue limit once a turn. Hence, adding armor, and other healing items or allies, to her makes her nigh unkillable if played properly.
I personally only play her as a once per turn at a limit of 1 wound for 1 fatigue only- no X for X exchange, since the text does not specifically say that it can be used multiple times to cancel damage over 1 wound. Also, this is the same interpretation in which the other Characters are played.

Thanks for the info Talismanic. In our game though, darkrock was using Red Scorpion's ability as a form of healing that was limited to one use per turn phase. As we were playing in Coffee Bean in Bonifacio High Street and I didn't have my laptop with me, I couldn't verify via BGG as I usually do. Since her ability said once per turn (no mention about having to be in battle), I allowed it for our game. So he would remove a wound marker in exchange for 1 fatigue once per turn even when Red Scorpion was just moving without any adventure for that turn.
Deepthought enjoyed the game and his office is also in Makati. He said our offices were not that far from his and that he could join us play in your office if we can just find a common free time.

Thanks fab. I really wanted the magician guy(magic:5/3). I travelled all way to the north and just to witness that you bid for him. I guess it was my destiny to meet Runesmith Shaan that day.
Good thing to know the correct ruling for Red Scorpion. Still, she's powerful as I can cancel x damage on a turn during the battle instead of the usual thing i did.
Thanks fab for introducing Runebound aka "Diablo" to us.

Talismanic, which (small box) expansion/s were you suggesting I get for Runebound besides Shadows of Margath? And let me know which cards from the Essential Collection you decided were "broken" and not fit to include in the decks. Thanks!
