Hi and welcome to the site asiy!
I think I was able to buy one Underdark booster pack before. It's opened already but I never got to play it. I am open for trade (other games) or sell it if you want.

D&D Miniatures - Random No More?
Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures -- Player’s Handbook Heroes
More than anything else, D&D players have been asking us for more PC (player character) minis. The D&D Heroes line features high-quality miniatures representing iconic player character races and classes described in the Player’s Handbook and Player’s Handbook 2 core rulebooks. Now players
will be able to find the miniature
that best represents their PC, and Dungeon Masters can use these figures to represent non-player characters in their adventures.
Launching in Spring 2009, the first D&D Heroes series features six different packs (18 figures total):
Martial Heroes 1
Martial Heroes 2
Arcane Heroes 1
Arcane Heroes 2
Divine Heroes 1
Primal Heroes 1
Each package contains 3 PC minis: 2 males and 1 female, and 3 unique power cards featuring brand new class powers.
All three of the figures in the package will be visible so you’ll know exactly which pack to pick for your game
.
The D&D Heroes will be refreshed regularly in order to continue to deliver new PC options to players. There are two series scheduled for 2009 and three scheduled for 2010. MSRP $10.99.
Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures -- Monster Manual
Also new to the 2009 lineup are Monster Manual themed releases. These sets are designed to be what every Dungeon Master (or D&D enthusiast) needs to create riveting adventures and exciting encounters at all levels of play.
Releasing in Spring 2009, the first D&D Monsters set is called Monster Manual: Dangerous Delves. This will be a 40-miniature set containing both medium and large sized figures. Each semi-randomized “booster” box contains 5 minis: 1 visible figure, 1 rare figure, 1 uncommon figure and 2 common figures, as well as full-color D&D Dungeon Delve stat cards for each miniature. MSRP $14.99.
Upon the release of D&D Monsters and D&D Heroes,
we will no longer package the D&D Miniatures line in its current configuration (fully randomized booster packs and huge packs)
. This means that November’s set -- D&D Miniatures: Demonweb -- will be the final release sold in fully randomized booster packs.

Intersting. Everybody is going to non random minis. I never expected Wizards to do it.
First it was wizkids with the mechwarrior line
then fantasy flight
now Wizards!!
Dang, but I like random (seeing your rare is always fun). But I can live with sets. *sigh* dang.
And random boosters are usually a better value.

The end of the Dnd Minis Skirmish line.
just when it was finally getting interesting.

Wizards officially ending D&D Minis skirmish game
Since our post on Wednesday (see D&D Miniatures becoming less random in 2009), word has come down from Dungeons & Dragons Senior Brand Manager Scott Rouse at Wizards of the Coast clarifying the company’s plans for D&D Miniatures. Citing “sharp increases […] in manufacturing costs over the last 12 months” and a steady decline in skirmish players, Rouse confirmed that “November’s release of Demonweb will be the last new set that includes skirmish statistics. […] At this point, we can no longer justify the design, development, and production resources required to support the skirmish game.” This move will make WotC’s D&D Miniatures releases purely accessories for the roleplaying game - which is apparently what most D&D gamers were using them for anyway.

*gosh*
Never expected such news would affect me so much. But it is. I'm soooo ticked OFF!! Grrr.
Just when they finally got the game right.
Commons having interesting powers and all that.
Grrr...
They are going to be replaced with fixed sets and no Skirmish stats.
As most non random minis set. Price as increased but the number of minis have dropped!! They say paint quality has increased. *sigh*
Oh, FFG has dropped rackham stuff also. (another dead line)
$%!!%# cardboard is outlasting my beloved minis games.
Ok. so I can drop one game (dnd) for another (Monsterapocalypes!!!) and my new found game I am currently crazed about.. MechWarrior (yeh, very late into this).
More of a fantasy fan but my son is into Sci-Fi. Finally caved in (more or less giving up converting him to fantasy. hehehe). But enjoying the minis. They articulate!!! Never knew this. Game play is good. Best starter + booster bang for the buck (very playable!!)
*sigh*
Excuse the mindless blabber. Just a little upsent. No.. no alcohol is present at the moment..

Hey. I'm thinking of collecting D&DM and eventually play the game, but is it still worth it?

This game also piqued my interest late. I feel the need to grab minis since I browsed over the 4th Ed D&D. I guess these same minis are the ones the Player's Handbook mentioned? Uh, right?

Game still lives. Game still good.
Wotc (wizards, manufacturer) stopped supporting the game stats but still produces the minis. They have given support and official blessing to the DDM Guild
http://ddmguild.com/
to produce stats for thier future sets. So game is still playable. I think I saw a few.
Local supplier is Neutral Grounds which keep getting sold out very very quickly.
I orders keep getting unfulfilled so I am assuming supply issue at their source. I am still interested in getting them and willing to share a shipment. (but not at this moment 'cause I just did a big game purchase).
Hate the DDM guild website organization. grr.
heres sample of thier stats
