This group was made to introduce Heroscape in the Philippines and create interest in the game to generate more players in the country.  This is also a call to the different hobby shops nationwide to stock more Heroscape products.

By the way, what's the badge? Is it a literal, physical badge or is it a virtual one that I can see tagged on me on-line or something.

I have a question about the logo, why did you choose Drake Alexander as our "poster boy?"

Badge granted  (see below your username and in your Profile page)!  Yup that's the badge.

The Badge is virtual and only available here in the site.  It shows that you are a member of the HEROSCAPE PHILIPPINES group. 

I chose Sgt. Alexander because I already have a vector file of his image and I need a quick logo for the group.  Also, he seems to be the star in the Heroscape shows.  hehe  We can still change our logo though if something better comes up or someone can create a good design.

As long as you are into the Heroscape game then you can join the Group.  One HP Badge coming up!

I think Sgt. Drake is a pretty good choice; I would have liked Raelin or Mimring, but at that image size it would be hard to recognize them.  Drake still recognizable.

Other figures I can think of would be:

Krug - highly recognizable shape, however it would be nicer to have a Master Set (ROTV) figure.
Agent Carr - recognizable but not exactly an "iconic" character
Grimnak - recognizable on the table, but what about on a badge that size?

hey I have a suggestion - for new members/players, what if we make the granting of the badge a sort of ritual - they have to play a game of Heroscape with any current Heroscape_ph member, and they have to write a short session report (one short paragraph will do) on their experience how does that sound?  Of course this won't be necessary for people we have already played with before, like zinegata, Albert, Nickie, mr. and mrs. kaizer, yamasaki et al...

what do you think? I think it makes the badge more memorable if first-time players have to do something (even this simple task) to earn it

I can't play with anybody from Heroscape_ph though, I'm in Iloilo and the next guy with scape is in Roxas. 

But I've been scaping since December 2006 (me and my gf are the only scapers around this parts and are still recruiting other folks).
