Description:

With the highland pacified in Verräter, we now move to the ocean. Through bluff and strategy, players try to turn against the ship's captain, seizing the profits intended to be turned at the next port. Game includes a Pirate variant.

This is a German card game but does not require any in-game text to play.  English rules are available for download at boardgamegeek.com.

Hi everyone,

Last December, Gerald of Game Crab Cafe donated THREE games to the Reward Shop! 

However, due to the constraints of Real Life, Brel and I have not been able to add the items into the list yet    So first of all, I extend my most abject apologies to Gerald, who even made the effort to donate them before Christmas.  *bow my head in shame*

The good news is - I will be adding them to the shop very soon!  In fact, as soon as I can figure out the reward Shop's admin controls That, and check the games' components of course...I haven't even opened them yet    But I wanted to give everyone advance notice just in case, so there will be a little time to save up your Kredz (and cash in any un-redeemed Kredz certificates).

On Waka-Waka Island, someone has clumsily broken one of the oldest relics, infuriating the gods, who will seek vengeance upon the people (and maybe even nail the guilty party in the process). However, every deity wants to maintain a healthy group of faithful followers.

The players portray the angry gods, each with her own secret objective. The gods destroy portions of the island, each one trying to sink as many of the heathens as possible, while protecting her followers, as well as her place of worship, which is hidden in one of the nine portions of the island. Even the gods are not above bluffing a little!

**THIS IS THE DESCARTES EDITION**

Along the lines of History of the World by Avalon Hill, players cycle through a series of European civilizations as they attempt to score the most points using the civilization's special powers. The game is set in Europe and each player is provided with a pool of wooden tokens to represent their civilizations. Each player selects a combination of civilization tiles, which give his civilization special abilities or characteristics. Players expand their empire through territorial expansion, often at the expense of other players. The key to the game lies in choosing when to decline your currently played-out civ to get a new one which will keep generating points. Play continues with the cycling of civilizations until a certain score is reached whereupon final rounds are played and a victor is determined.

Drake & Drake



War & Sheep, Tony & Tino and Drake & Drake are the first two player games published by Eurogames. All three were designed by Bruno Cathala.

Drake and Drake, the more complex and possibly the most strategic of the three games, is a kind of abstract boardgame with event cards that allow either to place new pawns on the board, either to move them in many different ways.

Sorry, but in terms of the Reward Shop's functions, we do not support "dibs"

If you can persuade other site members to agree to your request, then good for you but if someone else buys it first, then there's not much we can do about it.  To be honest though, it will probably be out of most members' "immediate" budget.  Maybe a group can pool for it?

For what it's worth, you were the first to PM me asking about the game, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you were the first to see it.

But I'd like to point out that since we are all part of a community, and since this is a social game after all, anyone who wants to play the game can just play with the gaming group of whoever ends up buying it   what do you guys think?
