Heck, I even played w/ some1 who took a while to do his turn @d BATTLE LINE card game.  More than 2-3 mins.?
Guess u need to have played dat game to know wat I'm talking about.
 
Jst avoid d heavy games wen ur tired & ur patience is spent (as I've posted @ my "Interest List" -- if u can find it at d Forum directory )

Its also a gud idea to avoid playing Thru d Ages w/ 3 other players wen ur exhausted & its already way past midnight.  Trust me on this one.

Actually,  when I said "Waiting for Adrian" it should have been "waiting for Adrian to arrive" as we play this to kill the time.

Had fun playing this with Viscoos several OGMs ago. It is light and the outwit-your-opponent-before-he-closes-on-you makes it an exciting short game.

Finally, was able to get my own copy of Mr. Jack and got to play it today!  The rules is pretty simple but the game play is deep.  Among all the 2-player games in my collection, this one has the least luck involved.  Feels like "Dungeon Twister" alright but more solid and less complicated.  I just wish the box was made smaller/thinner to make it more portable.  There are a lot of wasted space with the current box design.  Although this may have its purpose --- the extra space can hopefully be used to include the small expansion.  All-in-all, I can say I like Mr. Jack as a quick 2-player brain-burning game.

Bruno Cathala & Ludovic Maublanc, designer of Cyclades also designed Mr. Jack pala. What a coincidence...  Just played Mr. Jack and now, I can't wait to receive my copy of Cyclades.

Mr. Jack + Nuns on the Run= Letters from Whitechapel 

Advanced Mr. Jack lang ata yung Letters, and it takes up to 4 hours to play (weeeee)

One of the BGG reviewers (Equalitytime) said that:

I should add a note about the playing time. My wife and I generally take longer to play games than what is listed on the box. We both take more time than average. When we play Agricola, my kids will say things like "wow, we could have watched all four Lord of the Rings movies--the director's cut--in the time you take to make your move."

That's fantabulous, I wonder when they will adopt their long lost son...
