...his math-inclined co-professor put together a probability matrix and killed the game for all of them by winning all the time Cheesy Moral of the story, never play with math majors Cheesy

Those math-inclined wiseguys usually takes out all the fun in games! Angry I think they should stick to creating games rather than playing them with average normal guys... like me.  hahaha   Cheesy

I feel that games should be 'fun' for all involved so more interaction and less private computing hehe no offense to math geeks but please give us other geeks a chance as well XD

hmmm but wasabi and math? o.0 how does that work? wouldn't a player randomly dishing out ingredients disrupt his formulas? ... ooo randomness ...

Exactly!  Maybe he studied the probability of randomness of the game just like what the guy in the movie "21" did.  The guy must be a genius.  hahaha Grin

Played this quirky light filler game yesterday.

Branded by Arnold as a girlfriend-friendly game (Jake: Until we need to start thinking Tongue), I was impressed by its components. To say this game is eye-candy is an understatement. I can definitely see casual gamers having plenty of fun with this one.

I wouldn't call it strategy but there's definitely some element of "diskarte" in it in managing the recipes you get, the tiles, the special powers etc. Replayability might be limited, but you don't play this that, instead it's for the eye-candy!

Might get this off the math trade or maybe through a good deal.

Note: You will get hungry if you play this game! Beware!

Its among the few games me and my gf play together (along with Blue Moon City and Monopoly :p). The simple, scrabble-like gameplay with superb components make it pleasant to the eye and easy on the mind (a good way imho to subtly suggest more boardgaming time to your non-gamer SO)

Note: You will get hungry if you play this game! Beware!

This reinforces the fact that the components are so good it almost makes you want to it them (well, except for the wasabi cubes)
