Do you mean at Fortress? How much sila? I already have two boxes coming in the mail though, I hope I don't get doubles.
2.5k each
I am willing to trade the starter armies for other faction's starter armies just to add more flavor. Most of the factions I got kasi were monsters walang human faction.
I have:
Cthul
Terrasaurs
Martians
Looking for:
Guard
Shadow Sun Syndicate.
If ever you get double of Guard or SSS I'd gladly trade any of the three starter armies I got.

Quote
In light of the success of the Monsterpocalypse battle miniatures game two-player starter released last October, Privateer Press has decided to move Monsterpocalypse into a new non-collectible format. Privateer Press will be releasing the first follow-up, Monsterpocalypse: Dangerous Monster Zone, in summer 2011. The expansion will feature figures from classic Monsterpocalypse series for the factions introduced in the core game. The new non-random format allows collectors and players to fill out their favorite factions easily, as each box will be clearly marked with its specific faction set.
A non-random, non-blind format? Sounds great. Screw collectible. I'm just happy that Monpoc was able to make the transition.
What's sort of not clear is if they're still referring to the 2-player battle box as the core game. They are clearly referring to the DMZ as an expansion, but the problem with the 2-p box is that it's semi-blind. There are two complete, non-collectible armies in each box, but you don't know
which
factions. It works great if you just want to get one box to play, but if you're a completist who wants all 6 factions then you still need to do some trading because you'll quite likely get duplicate armies.
Having said that, I must be a sucker because I was impressed enough with the 2-p box that I kinda really want to complete the set now.

Any of you guys have a list of what units you get for the G.U.A.R.D., Shadow Sun and Planet Eaters armies in the 2 player starters? ^_^

Totally excellent game. I'm not planning to play competitively, just out-of-the-battlebox armies, but it looks like the game will play well either way. The 2-player Battleboxes are so excellent, I ordered three more so I could complete all the factions
. Via balikbayan box though, so it will take a month or so, but I excpect to have extra factions for trade then.
@ Lionboy:
For PE units, I got
2x Explodohawk
1x Crawler
3x Destructomite
2x E. Destructomite
3x Belcher
2x E. Belcher
(w/ Gorghadra)
For Guard and SSS, I haven't seen them, but reading spoilers I'd guess SSS has 2x Shadow Gate + 1x Interceptor for the special units.

The starters are random, right?

You don't know what factions you'll get, but each Planet Eaters army will have identical units.

DMZ looks really great! The only thing "wrong" here is that only 3 buildings (two of them faction specific) seems really low, since players will want about 9-12 buildings each to fill up a map. Unfortunately it seems you will still have to rely on the 2-player battlebox for buildings and the accessories (map, dice, rulebook etc).
Random isn't that bad though, I bought five 2P BB's and with some trading, I now have all six faction armies and all twelve monsters from the base set. And with my last set of "extras" trading out this week (knock on wood), my collection is in a fine place.
