   Question though (unrelated to the thread), how come in the OGM section I have the ability to modify (edit, delete, split topic, etc.) another person's posts, but not here?  Are there different levels of moderation?

Yes, in the OGM section you are a moderator.  In other threads, you aren't.  Moderator permissions can be granted on a per-thread basis (if I'm not mistaken).

Group ownership is separate from moderator permissions.  You can be the group owner or have permissions to modify a group, while not having moderator permissions in *any* threads - and vice versa.

I wrote some intro here, we have the default Help section, and a forum dedicated for this.

I'm not sure if there are any info available about splitting threads and moderating though as if there are any I guess those would probably be displayed privately to admins and moderators. hmm...
