I'd like to start a thread for discussing FFG in general, although my initial purpose here is to find out how many of you guys and gals have used FFG's customer service and what feedback you may have.

I just got some replacement Doom dice from FFG and would like to know everyone else's experiences, if any Smiley

Well I play Fantasy Flight Games for most of my collection and I have no experience yet dealing with their customer service (never been able to order online in the first place LOL).

They make good games, yes, and I hope their customer service support isn't that bad either. They provide extra content and added value to your games just by putting bonus support content at their site and I must admit it's fun to see those new variants come out and give spice to your gameplay.

Maybe the people at FFG can be made aware of our community or this website because I think this is one of the few websites that gives feedback about their sole distributor in the Philippines.

But anyhow so far Ive heard good stories from them, I think Adrian (the other) and Titus have nice feedback about their costumer service

I posted my experience in the Doom thread, link here.

I was just wondering how many of you guys really appreciated their work, because I'm working on an idea that might turn out pretty cool, if certain conditions are met.

Thaad (who's a girl btw) is awesome. I always expect to be missing a fig or two when I'm buying an FFG big-boxed game but it doesn't matter since I can expect her to mail me the bits as soon as I contact FFG. They're probably the best in the business when it comes to customer service in my opinion.

When I started playing boardgames, Days of Wonder was my favorite publisher. They had my sister's favorite game, Ticket to Ride (and also her new favorite game, Pirate's Cove) and they also had my favorite game, Battlelore.

This was before I realized I was more of an ameritrasher than a eurogamer. When I found out I liked AT games more than eurogames, Fantasy Flight Games immediately became my favorite publisher.

Then they bought Battlelore, and I lived happily ever after. The end.

FFG used to sell replacement boards for WoTR which Tristan was able to take advantage of. I wanted to try it too but by the time I wanted to order, their revamped website (which is kinda clunky btw due to all the reloading flash content) didnt show it anymore Sad I've had little experience with their customer service but I read its is pretty good

I've had a positive experience with their customer support.  I've also gotten in touch with Thaad and got a new Sauron counter for my War of the Ring game which was missing that counter and had an extra army counter.  I just sent her an email and she sent me that one missing counter via mail.   Grin

As I mentioned in some other thread late last year, I have on several occasions e-mailed FFG's customer service because of missing parts (missing Descent dice, missing wood pieces in Warcraft and Game of Thrones, worn out Doom dice) and every single time they sent me replacements with no questions asked. They arrived in the mail within two weeks.

It looks like a great GenCon for FFG again, with them selling out on the stars of their show Elder Sign and Rune Age. Admittedly I would have snatched up those and The Black Crusade in a heartbeat if I was there Smiley
