OpenRPG: RPGaming over the net

I'm using a program called OpenRPG to play a campaign over the internet with two friends, one in Makati and one in the Visayas.  We're still learning how to use it as we only started a couple of weeks ago; haven't used all of its capabilities but for now, it seems to answer all our needs.

The software can be downloaded for free at http://www.openrpg.com - you need to download two other platforms first, for the Python environment, before installing the OpenRPG app.

It allows real time chat, has buttons for rolling multiple polyhedral dice, whisper to GM and whisper to other player functions, support for maps (loading images from your hard disk as the background map and as avatars) with square gridlines and white board layer that players can use to draw and type text on over the map.  There's a button for saving the map but we haven't tested that yet.  And at the end of the session, you can save each chat channel (main, GM, other players etc) to a log file in HTML format.

Nope we're using a system called Tri-Stat.  It's a newer version of another system that was designed for anime-style gaming called BESM (Big Eyes, Small Mouth). 

It's a little hard to figure out; we're still learning.  We just finished the campaign last night (urban fantasy setting) after about a month of gaming, so I'm not sure what will happen now.  But I can ask and get back to you if you're interested.
