Wii or PS3?

Which console do you think is better? I'm thinking I could buy a Wii this weekend or save up a few more for a PS3?

Wii, definitely. But that's just me, I don't really like FPS games. (And if I did, I'd still consider getting the new model of XBOX 360).

Are there any good rpgs on the Wii? Yun nga eh, PS2 prang puro Fps. On the otherhand, hindi ata cla mag release ng FF XIII sa Wii, pero ndi pa rin nman available yung international version this year.

There're virtually no RPG's sa Wii that're worth buying.  If you prefer the active, cutesy graphics, laden with sport-ish titles, way of gaming.  Then definitely go for the Wii.  I own one, and its lotsa fun. 

If you prefer the edgy, flashy graphics, FPS-laden, some RPG's, way of gaming, get the PS3 (specially if you're looking to get a blu-ray player).  It works quite well as a media center as well and has free online gaming.  The games are way more expensive though.  I also think the DC Universe Online game is coming out for PS3, if you're into that sorta thing.

Personally, I don't like modifying my consoles (I support my favorite publishers as much as I can)... but please know that as of now, there're no modded PS3's.  At least no good ones.  Wii's however, can be modded.

Well, Zelda is always good, but it's more of an action-RPG. Same goes for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Otherwise, yeah ganun.

I would guess that the current console with most RPGs is the DS, but that's outside the scope of your question.

I have a Wii. I wish I bought a PS3. Or a 360. I can count on one hand the games on the Wii worth buying.

It's a toy for kids. It really is. Sure some of the games are truly hardcore, and I guess sulit na yung Wii, but to be honest, a PS3 or a 360 would've been the better buy.

Unless you're a Nintendo fanboy, stick with the real gaming consoles.

A Wii is something you bring out during parties. Get a Ps3 or a 360 if you wanna be serious about gaming.

We have a wii, xbox, PS2.. no PS3 yet.

I am a Nintendo fanboy but Wii doesn't grab me as much. Althought my children play it heck more.

I would get a Xbox360 only *IF* the "red rings of death" phenomenon would completely disappear. (it hasnt yet). MS solutions is to ship it to them for a referb.

PS3 - great machine.. limited great games.

My suggestion also deals with what kind of gamer you are.

The more serious you are, then, I will veer you towards the PS3 or the XBox. 

My personal choice would be the PS3.

Wii meron namin sa bahay. Its fun and easy especialy for young kids or mga 'adults' lol.

For gaming tho i wish i had a ps3 bec of blueray and a FEW games

got the Wii because I'm all for the unique gaming experience. I'm not a hardcore console gamer and I usually rely on the PC for any high-graphics gaming I want to do. decide on what aspect of gaming you want to have now and use that to determine what to get. these two systems offer very different things so its pretty clear cut once you know what you want

Mag pa-PC upgrade or Nintendo DS ka nlang muna.  heehee... I'm currently addicted to "Dragonquest IV: Chapters of the Chosen" sa DS.  Cute graphics but gameplay is the best, DS is portable pa.  Now, I really don't have so much time to play long video games kaya yung DS ok lang sakin.  Pagnag-iintay ng sinusundo or bago matulog... nag-DS muna ko sandali.  heehee  But if I'll be getting a gaming console, I'll probably choose the Nintendo Wii for it's unique gaming experience and cheaper price.  I have the PC for deep games with nicer graphics.

Actually, I'm already leaning towards the Wii right now. I want to get Animal Crossing for my gf. hehe. Anyone tried this game yet? Wala b news ng mga boardgames pra sa Wii, ang alam ko sa Xbox or PS3 ata may carcassonne eh. Yun lng tlaga lack ng rpgs..
