Zvezda Age of Battles

I was just browsing looking for samurai plastic figures to use for SEVEN when I came across these guys:

Zvezda of Russia produces some of the finest 1/72 scale figures on the market today and has quickly become the best selling company in its field with fine sculpting and unique subject matter

Excellent work and cheap - those samurai figures? 10 dollars gets you 44 figures.

Also the guys have technically budget bundles with their Age of Battles series which clock in at 100+ figures and terrain costing 50 dollars to 90 dollars.

Age Of Battles is a table-top gaming system using 1/72 scale miniatures. Movement and combat are performed through measurement and dice rolling. There are several Age of Battles games from Zvezda, a manufacturer of plastic miniatures noted for historical accuracy, which cover several time periods and countries, all based on historical events (Antiquity, Middle age, Shogun, Napoleonic). The playing units (figures) can be bought in sets; for example, 6 units on horses, or 8 units with bows and arrows.

The fact that they can manufacture en masse and cheaply these figures would be a great help to you and your game. I think the samurai figs are superb. If you manage to include the Ninja that would be faaaaantastic 8D

Hmm..CP ata has some of these Zvezda minis..

I'm actually looking at hobby shops right now - I mean the modeling hobby shops. I know there's one in Glorietta and in Makati Cinema Square - I'm hoping they have the samurai ones, but the last I checked they have the Roman legionnaires. I think there are some shops in Greenhills. Can anyone suggest any other places to get historical plastic figs like these? They can probably order for me too.

Edit: I'm thinking to get 20-30 dollars worth; for 100 bandits+20 or so villagers and samurai. Para gumanda naman ang prototype ng SEVEN. Hehehehe.
