Elements is an online fantasy card game in which each player embodies an elemental--a spirit composed of an element. Elements are the fundamental building blocks of nature and express skills (unique to each element) that can be used in duels against another elemental.

Each skill corresponds to a card. Players pick which, and how many, cards to use in their duels, collect the cards in a deck, and then pit their deck against either an AI opponent or another player. New cards are obtained either by winning a match, which provides a modest chance of winning a random card from the opponent's deck, or by purchasing cards using Electrum coins. Coins are earned by winning matches and selling cards.

Each elemental receives 100 health points (HP) at the beginning of the match. The duel is over when one of the elementals runs out of health points or runs out of cards.

There are three types of cards:

    * Creature cards: These cards will summon a creature that will fight for the elemental. Creatures have a certain amount of attack power and health points, and many have their own special skills.

    * Spell cards: Spells have an immediate effect and are then discarded.

    * Permanent cards: Permanents are artifacts, equipment, or any other item that will remain in play for an indefinite amount of time.

Here's an interesting diversion. A free fantasy based online Card Game. It's different from MTG since there is no creature to creature combat (though some creatures can affect others with special abilities), and only walls and shields can block creature attacks. Also "mana" accumulates every turn, so if you wait long enough you can summon something even with minimal "land".

The cards you start with are all common but with enough of the ingame currency, electrum, you can upgrade them into better versions (uncommon?). There are rare cards that can be won from playing against AI decks, the top 50 decks, and the False Gods.

It's amusing to try the different elemental factions, though "upgrading" cards means a fair bit of grinding. Many of the factions have some MTGesque flavor and strategies- Resource Denial, Aggro, Direct Damage, etc. Rainbow decks are encouraged, though there are many strong mono-strategies.

Version 1.24 of Elements is out. Some of the new things since my last post that have been added are new cards that have changed the game such as "Fractal" that replicates a creature in play by filling your hand with the same card. "Quintessence" that makes a creature untargetable and immune to mass effects. "Wings" that makes the player untargetable by non-flying creatures. And a bunch of other stuff.

AI levels 5-6 have been revamped. And a wheeel of fortune was addedd that gives rare "Nymph" creatures.

The game requires some grinding though. However, there are ways to "get rich quick".

Wait, isn't there a way to build multiple decks here?

You can use the import/export function. Just save the deck code to a text file and note what it is.
