I played a game using DD. All I have to say about them is that they are seriously underrated. Didn't help that it was against the BD

but DD is strong! They will outlast even the Vanguards

their problem is when their first wall goes down early in the game. They need to build up combos and a rush faction will be able to swarm them more easily.

Never said they were weak, just underrated.
