Confrontation: The Age of the Rag´narok is the fourth edition of the well-known fantasy battle game.

The Starter Set Confrontation: The Age of the Rag´narok contains two assembled and painted armies ready to fight for immediate gaming pleasure: the Griffin and Wolf armies. The Set allows two players to discover the game and battle through the six scenarios found in the rulebook.

Two players owning a Starter Set each would be able to constitute a larger army by exchanging the miniatures and engage in larger battles.

The game rules, adapted to a universe where every nation is fighting to prevail in the ultimate battle, are intuitive and quick to learn. They come with a mini-campaign of six scenarios to discover the game. Each scenario is played within half and hour to one hour, preparation included.

The mounted and painted miniatures are 28 mm in scale on round bases. They are a collection of choice for fantasy enthusiast and their presence on the gaming table makes the battle even more impressive.

The Starter Set Confrontation: The Age of the Rag´narok contains:

• Griffon army with 8 spearmen (strategic value: 400 army points) and Abel (strategic value: 160 army points)

• Wolf army with 4 hunters (strategic value: 425 army points) and Serethis (strategic value: 225 army points)

• The complete rules of Confrontation: The Age of the Rag´narok with 80 pages, full-color illustrations and clear explanatory schemes and six scenarios, ready to play!

• Accessories with one terrain piece, six dice, one tape measure marked in centimeters and inches.

I'll join and I'll take the Ram but I'll wait for my AT-43 to come in first. Then I'll order my confrontation stuff, prolly after a month. ^_^

lions - are like bretonnia with all the cavalry
wolfen - would more or less be like the khorne
ram - vampire counts/undead
griffin - would be the empire with the guns and all
scorpions - i don't know in whfb but they would be like the cryx in wm in terms of theme but they are a lot tougher than the usual cryx

so which one???

@Lionboy

you might want to play lion if you want. I'm more inclined to playing wolf as lion sounds too morally good Smiley

@omarness

I think I saw some stocks at NG Smiley

@omarness... It's made by the same company. And since I love AT-43,  I suggest you start with AT-43 and work your way to Confrontation (which I'll be doing). Most of the AT-43 players will be playing Confrontation anyway (like me, tagz and togashi). ^_^

@Togashi - I still want Ram. The Lion may be represented by my fave animal but I prefer the Undead. ^_^ And good guys never appealed to me. ^_^

@Togashi, thanks for the info i'll drop by some other time in NG during weekends.

@Lionboy, any idea how much the starter set costs here? Currently I don't have any idea of the both games prices, but I am looking forward for it.  Smiley

Hey guys.  I'm interested in starting as well.  I'm looking at Scorpions, but I'll probably wait for a month or so.  I'm still aching with my AT-43 purchases.  hahaha.
