Chapter 03: Beyond the Great Cavern

[OOC: Can everyone here the growling or only Blackjack?]

With Hagar's shouts suddenly bursting through the cave, Eren drops the rock and looks back up at him. What silenced Hagar in the beginning (or what affected everyone's hearing) vanished somehow. Taking the chance, he yells back, "Master Hagar, some spell prevented us from hearing you!" He remember's Hagar's frantic flailing. "Do you see danger that we don't?"

[ooc: everyone can hear this now]

"Yes," shouts Hagar, pointing to the opening just above/below Blackjack. "Kobolds!"

[Popit]

Kobolds?! Presto thought he distinctly heard a cry to battle regarding these mischievous midgets.  Presto quickly draws his sling and readies his stones and begins scanning the area for his first target.

[OOC: Hi all!

I've had two people bow out already, and I wanted to see who wants to continue with this game. I had planned to do a series of encounters (this is the last one) and then close the game off and prepare to run another one with the experience I gained from running this one.

Questions? Comments? Yeas or Nays?]

I'm still game, I have just been busy lately, and I have been waiting for more player responses that I could interact with.  If the majority decides to call it off, I'm fine with that, but it would be nice if we could come up with a neat finish

I'm still in it.  I was just waiting to see what others were doing before I posted what Blackjack was going to do..which was basically freak out. ha ha!

[OOC: cool, I think that's good enough. Been busy too! I'll prep the map so that I can show where the kobolds are and then we can go through with the combat.]

Blackjack freezes where he is (where is he again? on the rope?) when he hears the growls and takes a huge gulp.  He then very very slowly moves his hand toward his dagger knowing that a sword is too long to use while holding the rope.
