Oh yeah Fate. I have that game. Got it via download. Yeah, Fate was just okay but wears a bit thin. I was hoping for something a tad bit more meaty.  Wink

Would like to play "Fate 2" on the PC... if they will just release a version for it.  Heard something about the game allowing you to have your own domain/house just like in Ultima Online.  Been looking for an RPG that has that immersive element.  But until now, I haven't found any.

Fate isn't really an RPG its just a dungeon crawler with a Skill Tree and some ransom missions. Even, Diablo I and II aren't really RPGs, though they are fun.

Morrowind!  I played that game for a year - literally.  In the game, if you join one of the three great houses (Redoran for me) you can build and upgrade your own stronghold.

Morrowind? Oblivion!!! Oblivion's one of the games that got the most play time from me and with mods on, the game's even better.

As for Torchlight, its worth mentioning that Torchlight has VERY LOW system requirements for those that want to try it. Hell it'll work on your netbook (...and it does have a netbook mode).

I follow the Daggerfall games and it's the reason why I keep upgrading my gear. lol  Cheesy When Morrowind came out, I was forced to upgrade and my current PC was also the result of an upgrade... because of Oblivion.  hahahah I love those games... but they are just too vast!  I haven't actually finished any yet and I just like visiting their world for a few hours of gaming time.  Grin  "Fate 2" seems to be much manageable for me based on Scott Nicholson's review. Smiley  One more thing I like in "Ultima Online" is you can also assign an NPC to sell wares in your domain/house.  It's nice to check on your stuff/earnings from time-to-time while you are adventuring.  Makes going back and selling to other shops less tedious.  hahaha

There's a actually a way to complete Oblivion in like 30  minutes. Anyway, I digress, I played Torchlight at HM while waiting, its a slightly better version of Fate. The quests are generic either fedex, accompany, or kill something, not really RPing in the sense that actions have meaningful consequences.
