I think that, kinda like in W:I, LoTR LCG will start to have enough cards in its card pool for some deck building elbow room after the 1st cycle completes. And I expect that to be sufficient for only the first few scenarios (a chance to finally have a higher win:loss ratio for Escape from Dol Guldur? maybe). I wanna play it again!

Finally. Managed to get two expansions- (a)The Dead Marshes and (b)
The Hills of Emyn Muil. Also got the massing at Osgiliath (scenario only, no new Sphere cards)
I still feel somewhat distant from really being able to really "construct" decks as only a few new card types were added.
Are these your first expansion packs? I highly recommend picking up the rest of the available ones. I have them and some cards are just great for building 50-card competitive decks, especially the songs and the Dunadan marks.

How many Songs are available already anyways? I already liked the possible synergies of that keyword but when Hisashi and I played after he picked up Hunt and Rhosgobel there wasnt enough to go around.

If I'm correct, there are 3 songs already out, song of kings, wisdom and the one for tactics resource IDK what its called yet. I concur that the Marks are great cards but we need cards that will increase the resource generation of the other spheres, the only way to do this is to pair song of kings with the Steward of Gondor to the other spheres

There are 4 songs, one for each sphere, which helps the resource problem in multisphere decks.
However, I understand that resource generation is a primary characteristic of the Leadership sphere so I don't think we'll see any great improvement in that area for the other spheres. A useful card in this case is Parting Gifts (0 cost, allows you to move resources from a Leadership hero to any other hero). It combos well with Gloin + Steward of Gondor.
