Haha I'm not sure what they're actually called. But you guys know what I mean. I've got a growing game collection and as Arkham Horror has taught me, the one bag for all technique just won't work  Grin Hahaha.

So what and where do the gamers here buy their "box" of choice?

Look for those plastic organizers at Ace Hardware or in those Japanese stores in the malls (like the one in Greenbelt 1; the name escapes me). I think you can also get them in the SM department stores. I don't have a particular brand in mind; I just get whichever fits in the board game box (and since I don't actually measure the inside dimensions of the box before buying, I have ended up with more than handful failed purchases Tongue).

So far we dont have any Plano brand boxes easily accessible (at least I havent encountered any) so I use the Familia brand Hisashi mentioned that can be found in ACE and SM Department stores. So far this brand is the cheapest I can find. Other brands are unreasonably expensive. And yup, 99 Peso shops have these too Smiley

Ah boardgame OCness, don't you just love it Smiley

Ahhhh yes, having become a board gamer one also becomes a patron of fine plastic storage solutions. I swear by Daisho, the 66 Peso shop, the 99 Peso Shop, DIY and Ace. They all have a variety of plastic cases and storage good that can be converted to your gaming needs. Further, a variety of fine ziploc plastic bags and clones can be bought to handily store your fiddly bits. NG carries some velour/velvet bags that can also be useful, though a bit pricey.

There's nothing like well organized storage solutions to get my OCD freak on!  Grin

I mainly buy at the DIY in Gateway Cubao. The 66 Peso Shop I ran across in Marquee Mall, in the Subic Clark area I think. Also Daisho and the 99 Peso place ata are one and the same, I bought from one in Glorietta.

Lolz, unlike the Japanese hyaku-en-ya, our 66, 88, and 99 peso shops dont only sell stuff at one price point. I think these containers are more or less the same price on a per type basis regardless of the shop name

I've recently bought from National bookstore (makati) they have a buy one take one there but only 2 sizes. I bought the bigger one which is 105 pesos, and used it to fit base pandemic bits (although it doesn't fit really well with the box but still ok) and stone age wood components.

yes boardgame OCness is nice because it takes away set-up time from removing something from ziplocks. Smiley

I get mine from SM Makati, they have ones there same size as the Familia ones priced at php150+, but are priced only php75.  Only downside is their compartments aren't adjustable.
