4. Android
5. Napoleon: The Waterloo Campaign 1815,
6. Hour of Glory: Stronghold Kit
7. Combat Commander
8. Alchemist
9. Battle Leader Tactics
Mechanics:1)
The initial blood bathFor the day leading up to Jan. 15, People can game all they want with one small difference: I will be tallying your victories. Specifically, I will be keeping track of the number of enemies you have vanquished (so if you win a 5 player game you will gain a kill rate of 4). PM, email or text me 1) The name/s of the registered gamers you have defeated and 2) on what game.
Each person that you defeat only counts as one kill no matter how often you beat him/her . At the end of Jan 15 midnight, a “king” will be crowned the winner and for all intents and purposes, is considered the “owner” of The Prize (see above)… for now

2)
The ReckoningFrom Jan. 15 to Feb 19, a Reckoning will be upon us. Any registered gamer may now challenge the king and take the crown and The Prize! If he wins he must now take on all challengers and retain the title! Only the person holding the title of King by Feb 19 can claim the title of the King of Boardgamers and The Prize!
Rules on challenging a king
a) You must specifically and explicitly state your challenge on this thread. Once you have done so. I will temporarily stop tallying your kill rate at that point.
b) Priority will be given to the challenger with the highest kill rate. If he is unavailable, we move on to the next person in the priority list but if in a future date/gaming meet he does become available he resumes his spot on top of the priority. Due to this rule (and rule A) you may wish to rack up some kills first before you state a challenge to ensure you get priority
c) Several challengers are allowed to challenge together to play against the king in a non-2 player game.
d) You must have at least one kill before you can be eligible to challenge. Prove yourself worthy first…
e) The challenger must state what board game he wishes to challenge the King. The King is allowed to veto this board game and make a counter-proposal. The challenger may then accept this title or make another offer (Not the vetoed first offer). If a game cannot be agreed upon the Moderator (That would be me-Jay) will choose between the two final titles
f) If you are defeated in the challenge (Or if you are the king and you are unseated), your kill rate resets to zero. You have been defeated and humiliated and most work your way back up to be able to challenge the king and have your revenge (assuming he is still the same king by then)
g) The King may NOT refuse a challenge. He must answer that challenge (That is, actually play a match with the challenger/s) within 3 days. For the purpose of this tournament, Sundays are not counted for this time frame but gamers may nevertheless play on Sunday. If he is “too busy” or “unavailable” he FORFEITS the crown and the Prize in favor of the challenger (if more than one challenger they must then fight each other for it). A true boardgame warrior does not let trivial things like “work” and “family” get in the way of glory.

h) You MUST contact the Moderator informing him that the challenge is about to begin. The challenge is not official unless you have the blessing of the Moderator. So you must either text/call the Moderator or have him present for the challenge. If texting or calling state the board game you are using for the challenge. It has to be first approved (See below)
i) Session Reports are MANDATORY. Without them your victory will NOT be official. (This is to make the tournament more exciting). At the end there will be a prize for the best written session report
j) The King will always be known and kept up to date so you will know who your opponent is (So no hiding)
3)
Misc rulesa) The Moderator is disqualified from the tournament
b) Payments do not have to be on the spot. I will accept promises to pay as long as you prove trustworthy

c) Games where the winner is too reliant on luck and randomness are not allowed in challenges or games that will count toward your kills score (One of the reasons why you need to contact the Moderator. To approve the game). Likewise party games, co-op games and team games are also not allowed. Moderator will have final say.
d) Online versions of games (VASSAL and the like) are allowed mediums for challenge. The only requirement is that the game must be a port of an actual boardgame (no video games allowed)
e) Fun is mandatory... you must have it. This tournament is meant to be tongue-in-cheek… please don’t take it too seriously and bitch about this and that. While I will officiate things like cheating and the like, I want this to be a fun event and chance for people to get games

f) Feel free to donate more games to The Prize.
Good Luck everyone! Prove you deserve to be called the KING!
