Forum/Site Time

I just noticed and I was curious, is there any particular reason that the forum/site time is set to Central Standard Time (UCT/GMT-6)?  I've set my displayed time offset to +14 (one of the very first things I did when I signed up, lol) and that makes it show local time on the forum side, but it still shows the time as 14 hours behind on the main page recent topics posted section.  I only noticed 'coz I'm normally on in the wee hours of the morning and it's weird when I see that someone posted "Today at xx:xx *PM*".

I'm guessing its a site software-setting issue that moderators don't have/ know access to? 
 
Just bear w/ it I guess coz, from what I gather, our site administrator has been pre-occupied as of late.

I worked in IT b4 & website coding takes quite a bit of time.  Not to mention the out-of-pocket cost of annually registering the domain name  of Tabletopwars.

Don't even get me started w/ server maintenance, organization & the regular backing-up of content data onto an external hard-drive in case of any any crash.
Then again, maybe I just experience that from my IT firm.

Fixed the Forum Time by configuring the Overall Time Offset setting in the Admin page (+14).  I then changed my Time Offset value in my Profile page to zero.

I also fixed the code that displays the date/time information in the Recent Topics Posted section that can be found in the Home page.

Cool! I did notice that it changed from CST/+14 to EDT/+6 (was gonna joke about a switch in preference from Ameritrash to Euros, lol) and eventually local/0.

I think the front page currently shows the time as 24 hours ahead now though..
