Who's interested in a friendly Summoner Wars tourney? Trying to gauge interest.

Date: Aiming for August

Location: If there's a sizeable number of participants from both South and North. We can have a mini-tourney in both locations.

Rules to follow once we finalize head count.

1st timers are most welcome. Even if you don't have a deck, there are those who'll be willing to lend one of theirs. If there's a significant number of newcomers, we can bracket into novice and regular groupings. Along with some rules teaching

No location as of yet. If a sizeable group from both South and North are interested. We can run 2 legs of the tournament since finding a place big enough to hold us in one go might be challenging. Then lead into a combined finals.

Looking to schedule in August.

You might have a hard time finding a sched in August where all interested to play are free, especially if you intend to hold it on a weekend. There are already several events planned, such as gaming at Claro's, the 1830 learning session at Mark Humphries' place, the next All aBOARD/OGM at Galleria and the Agricola tournament (which is also on a tentative sched) which are all scheduled for August weekends.

I can join if I'm free on the date you decide to hold the tournament, but I'll probably be part of the non-regular playing group since I've played SW less than ten times.

- Kala ko pass na H&L? They're willing to lend their area again?
- I do foresee a larger turnout for the North leg. Not sure if North folks would find it an easy trek but if they do, that's a great offer.

- Yeah. Aware that August does seem jam-packed. I only see the 13th and the 20th as the only possible weekends as I won't be available on the long weekend. Let's play it by ear. If need be, move it to Sept. Of course I don't want those who'd like to attend multiple events to be disadvantaged, but if there's a sizeable number who are to attend the SW tourney, let's gun for it and hold another leg later na lang. After all that's the plan naman. Multiple legs in case masyado malaki yung group. Galing ng community! Fully booked na lagi hehe.
