As the topic may imply, I'm looking for Magic duel decks.

I got the latest one (Ajani vs Nicol Bolas), now am on the lookout for the old ones.  Anyone knows where these things might still be available?  And yeah, I irresponsibly did not yet go to my local NG to check if there are any available still.  Or maybe someone here is selling any of them in good condition?  Let me know please.  I've been out of the MTG game for a decade now but I want to keep some playable themed decks.  Right now I'm specific with the duel decks line.

Thanks.

Fortress and courtside as well as comic quest also stock them, additionally there are commander decks and event decks on sale too! The commander decks are elder dragon highlander constructed decks while event decks are actual constructed decks for tourneys complete with sideboard. Nice to see mtg with alternate formats being sold

I actually got mine from Courtside SM North.  Oh, so there's magic sold at fortress?  Nice!  Hehehe.

I've seen event decks before, but not yet the highlander decks.

Thanks Mark.

The commander decks are selling at 1800 per deck, you get 3 oversized cards, as well as a hundred (100) card singleton deck. This is good for those who want to play the EDH format and fits well into casual play.

The event decks are really more for those who want to try out tourney decks and maybe compete in the local MTG scene. Though I can't say just yet how good these are. They are selling 2 decks together- a vampire deck and a denial deck for 2500 (1250 each, but I am not sure if they sell them individually). These are not so casual and duel decks might be better for that purpose. Also duel decks are cheaper with 2 decks for 1700-1800.

oh yeah!  i saw those!  the commander looks amazing, but seems not so traditional hehe.  I thought the event decks were such, but i dont feel like getting back to competitive magic.  i just want to play it like, you know, yomi where you just pick up a deck and it's set.  they do have a duel deck but it's a japanese jace vs chandra deck i think.

Got two commander decks- "Political Puppets" and "Counterpunch". The first is an interesting deck with some odd cards and some possibly powerful cards and combos. Its supposed to be played in multi-player format and you are supposed to table talk and form alliances when playing it, so YMMV. I honestly prefer two player magic so that was a bit of a let down, the deck does pack some interestingly powerful effect cards though, and a lot of card draw.

"Counterpunch" might as well have been named "Tokenpunch" as it has the capacity to produce large numbers of token creatures and saprolings for a swarming attack,a much more straight forward seck to play.

Interestingly, they brought back the Sol Ring, and both decks have it. Political Puppets also comes with the Fellwar stone. Yehey.  Cheesy
