I'm also from the south and find ATC very accessible. I'm sure Tristan would also like having a relatively closer place to game.

Hello Cath8088! Welcome to TW. I'm also from the south(Los Banos to be exact). ATC is nearer to my place, and I'd be happy to bring some of my games there. Hmmm..although I don't know if NG will allow games that they aren't selling to be played in their shop. Anyways, I can bring Arkham Horror, or A Game of Thrones sometime if you're interested provided the "boss"(she might be reading this!) lets me.

I heard about this from a mutual friend.  I think Neutral Grounds will allow us to play mainly because they also accept orders for board games as well.  In addition, I bought a couple from them, too.  Freddie Tan has known me for more than a decade already.

I just have been disappointed recently by their delivery delays but the place and the people are still great.

I have some work on Saturday afternoons so I limit gameplay to about 2 to 4 hours on those days (non-negotiable).

We always play on Saturday, provided my order does not arrive on that day.  Of course, procuring new games are prioritized to playing old ones.

We're slated to play Tomb on Saturday.

I'm usually there when it opens (10-ish), have lunch at some fastfood and go to Neutral Grounds to set up.  The table is usually in front of Hobbes & Landes, between a basketball goal and a magazine stand.

haven't done this pa pala though i was welcomed already.

well im me. believe or not i got a surging addiction just late dec 08 out of the blue. i dont know why but i just had the urge to play games. and i did just that. after a few days of research i stumbled upon this site.

right now i don't have that many games. i sort of leech from the usual meets i attend but hopefully after trying out a number of games i'd make up my mind on what to get for the various people i tend to hang out with.
like recently i got to play shadow hunters with non-gamers and we had fun with it.

hmm~ econ games are up my alley and other games as long as "may aksyunang nagaganap" couldn't say it better in english.

we usually visit jay's hobbymania though recently thesis matters had to be prioritized but that's over now. hope to see you guys around in the ogm g@s hobbymania gc sage(hopeful to attend soon) nggm(dayo hehe) and other gaming hotspots!

   I'm too lazy to slog through 23 pages of posts, and Brel has my admiration of what he has to go through for this anniversary raffle.


   Okay... brief introduction.   I'm a 39 year old Professional Bum that has been out of work more than in it.  I got into tabletop games via pencil & paper Role Playing Games - namely the boxed set Dungeons & Dragons when I was 12.

   I joined the Alliance of Eclectic Gamers and Interactive Storytellers when I was told about it by a friend, and participated in a few of the games played - which made me realize I'm a casual gamer at best.

   When Adrian Martinez (aka Tybalt) created the Open Meet within the AEGIS I saw that some of the members would bring boardgames or party card games - and that started my interest in other tabletop games.

   I took over the Open Meet when Tybalt couldn't maintain it, and slowly re-structured it to feature a more diverse offering of tabletop games, rather than being a one hobby gathering.

   Venue was always a problem then, and I was able to hold it a few times at Walter Mart Makati, then a few more times at a friend's family house.  When Mark Humphries offered to reserve the Cabana's where he lives, it was then that the OGM finally found roots.

   At the start it had been a one-man operation, and only recently has the OGM been handled by a group of people collectively known as the OGM Organizers.

   Hmmm... so much for a brief introduction.  It looks more like a history of the OGM than being about me... and it isn't brief either

   A little addenda about me then.  My gaming collection is rather small, and a bulk of it is my obsessive collection of Descartes Editeur / Eurogames Formula Dé.  Almost all the other games are all portable.

   I'm a frustrated Scrabble player, and would like to play it more often, but know that I can't really challenge the really good players.

   As I said before, I'm a casual gamer, so I've tried all the genres, and no one genre has a priority in what I'd play - with the exception being Formula Dé.  But I would like to try out all the games that have been brought at the OGM - and even if it's just one new game every time, I'd eventually know most of them.

Blah its me Albert Cukingnan. Primarily a roleplayer but been playing only board games as of late. Frankly I can't remember how I stumbled upon either AEGIS or TTW. Neither can I remember when it was lol.

My boardgame-fu is pretty weak but here's hoping for a level up and more game time~
